A pit-stop check in on trends

This week we take a slight detour away from the data and try and draw trends from what we are seeing and hearing in the industry. We talk every week to multiple owners, investors, buyers of distilleries, sellers of distilleries, cask brokers, bulk brokers, valuers, cooperages, operational teams in distilleries, banks, private equity, suppliers, marketing teams etc. – so we have a good sense of the current mood and reality.
